LSE Uggla Family Scholars trip to York

LSE Scholars x York City FC
On Saturday October 10th, a group of Uggla Family Scholars from LSE travelled over 200 miles north of London to the historic city of York. We zipped through the city, past ancient walls, the impressive York Minster cathedral, and several chocolate factories on our way to see York City FC play against Northampton Town FC.
A huge thank you to Matt and Julie-Anne Uggla who own and run York City FC, and to Roz Taylor for organizing the day trip to see the football match. Everyone had a fun and interesting day out. Despite the match finishing 1-1, it was a memorable and exciting day and a chance for the London based Scholars to see another part of the UK.
We are already planning another visit to watch York City FC, and we are all wishing the team the best of luck as they push for promotion into the English Football League One.
