Lance Uggla studied for his undergraduate degree at SFU. In December 2020 Lance pledged $34.1m to establish the Uggla Family Scholarships that would pay for the education of ten new undergraduate students every year in perpetuity. The Scholarships are awarded to those that would not otherwise be able to afford to go to university but are strong academically and show determination and personal achievement. Today we support forty students at SFU.
